| In the 1700’s brew masters had a hard time creating beers that would withstand the long boat journeys to their final destination. Both the Russians and the British came up with solutions that included adding extra hops to a high in alcohol concoction. Even though Asian countries created their own beers the process wasn’t as necessary, but some people liked the flavor, so the concept of the IPA (India Pale Ale) has lived on. |
