A Cider is a fermented alcoholic beverage made from fruit juices. Cider alcohol content varies usually from about 1.2% ABV to 8.5%. Sometimes here in the US you’ll hear people call a cider a “Hard cider” to differentiate it from the apple cider your kids love (non alcoholic).
